Shaken not Stirred, Reynolds flies high with Aviation American Gin

Shaken not Stirred, Reynolds flies high with Aviation American Gin. Celebrities are investing in liquor companies like never before. Last year, George Clooney’s 4 year old tequila company Casamigos sold to Diageo for as much as $1 billion dollars. Clooney and friend Rande Gerber initially started making tequila for personal use, but were forced to get licensed because they were drinking too much. Talk about first world problems!

Ryan Reynolds may have his eye on a billion dollar buy out, as he becomes the new owner and face of Aviation American Gin. Reynolds said:

Aviation is the best tasting gin in the world. Once I tried it, I knew I wanted to get involved with the company in a big way…If you think all gin tastes the same, you’d be mistaken. Aviation is in a completely different league and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the company.

Every bottle of Aviation Gin is handcrafted in small 100-acre batches in Portland, Oregon. The origins can be traced back to around 2005 when bartender Ryan Magarian met distiller Christian Krogstad. Together they set out to create a gin that is so balanced and smooth it can complement any cocktail or even fly solo.

They certainly got Ryan Reynolds’ attention, and now they have the world’s attention.

Cheers to the next billion dollar buyout.
